The perfect shorty for every occasions! Use the Bubble Shorts first as cute roomy shorts on top of nappies. When your child grows, loosen the elastic at the waist and remove the elastics at the leg openings to create ordinary shorts with straight leg openings. The waist and leg openings are elastic and adjustable.

The Bubble Shorts are made of our new very soft and airy, light hemp/organic cotton jersey, perfect for hot weather. Suitable also as sleep shorts, get several pairs. Prewashed twice - ready for immediate use and almost no shrinkage. Somewhat uneven, natural fiber surface, four different colours. Completely biodegradable fabric.

Hemp: 

  • Durable: long strong fiber structure (10 times stronger than cotton)

  • Breathable and less likely to absorb odors

  • can absorb up to 20% of its weight and still feels dry to touch

The woven items are lightweight linen fabric and the knitted items are light or medium weight jerseys.
Our hemp blend fabrics are pre-washed twice to avoid shrinkage and make the clothing ready to wear straight out of the package.
Like wool, hemp can absorb quite a lot of humidity (up to 20% of its own weight) and keep feeling dry to the touch. Our ManyMonths ECO Hempies are highly breathable and feel cool in the summer heat.

Hemp itself is UV-resistant and has antimicrobial properties — clothing made of it also carries these properties. This means that hemp fabric naturally holds out against microbes and can repress the growth of bacteria. Your clothing stays fresh longer and you can opt to wash them less often than other clothing, which is better for the environment as it saves both water and energy. Hemp clothing doesn't mind washing though — actually, your pieces become even softer with every wash!

Care Instructions


3 Steps to quick and easy wool washing


1. Hand wash in lukewarm water (30c) with an ecological wool detergent. Rinse in water the same
temperature.


2. Squeeze out the water gently (do not wring), spread out on a dry towel, roll up in the towel and
leave for an hour (overnight is fine).


3. Take the clothing out of the towel and hang up or lay flat to dry undercover (not in the sun).

Wool is highly resistant to stains, dirt and odours so your garment will not need frequent washing.

I have accidently put the cotton blend fabric into the washing machine set at 60c with normal cotton clothes and found that it didn’t shrink.
However I have shrunk the wool and wool silk blend clothes when I forgot to separate them from the usual wash.
I do not recommend washing any of these clothes in temperatures greater than 40c however the cotton blend clothing may be wearable if an accident does
occur.
